About Us

Kate’s Path and KP Studios are run by Kate and Peter, a maker partnership based in Sussex.

Kate leads the artistic direction and creates original artwork, alongside developing and running workshops.

Peter is a musician, woodturner and maker, specialising in tactile, small-batch pieces and working across both traditional making and laser-cut processes.

 

Alongside her creative practices, Kate has a professional background in learning and development, designing and leading programmes that focus on how people learn, engage, and build confidence. This experience shapes the way workshops are designed at KP Studios, with a strong emphasis on clear guidance, supportive environments, and learning through doing.​​

Together, they design and make nature-inspired work, handmade objects, and thoughtfully structured workshops that combine creative exploration with practical skills, rooted in place, materials, and the joy of making by hand.
