About me
Life-long artist - nature lover - creative soul
I am a multidisciplinary artist and visual problem solver whose practice is rooted in lifelong making, material enquiry, and process-led experimentation.
Having worked creatively for much of my life, originally through drawing and painting, and later expanding into printmaking, resin, and mixed media. My practice has evolved through an ongoing exploration of materials, techniques, and processes. I approach each piece by selecting the tools and methods best suited to the concept or problem at hand, allowing the nature of the idea to determine the form of the work.
My work often combines traditional hand-making with contemporary processes, bringing together tactile craft, layered surfaces, and technical experimentation to create materially rich pieces shaped by both intuition and intention.
Through mixed media, resin, ink, print processes, found materials, and layered surfaces, I explore themes of place, memory, folklore, and nature, often responding to landscape, narrative, and the residual marks of human presence.
I am currently studying Visual Communications with the Open College of the Arts and will shortly begin a BA (Hons) in Art and Contemporary Craft at West Dean College, continuing to expand my practice through critical enquiry and material exploration.
